Let's face it - most dog owners know that they need training just as much as their dog. People aren't born with a natural ability to speak Dog, it's a learned skill. But often times dog training is focused on just that - training the dog. Obedience and commands are addressed, but the owner's influence and technique tend to be ignored. This makes for sloppy training and poor long-term results. Our training process puts the focus on you - the owner. So you'll walk away from your K9H training knowing how to understand your dog, how to command your dog and how to keep your dog from getting out of hand.

Every dog is different. So is every human. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to dog training. In-Home & Beyond
Many of your training sessions will be conducted in your home and neighborhood. We'll examine closely how your daily interactions and routines are affecting your dog's behavior. But to set you up for real-world success, most training programs will also include sessions outside the home to practice behaviors in real-life situations. We love to practice in parks, pet stores, veterinary offices, boats, beaches and even restaurants and bars.
